Rob Van Riel and Ron Pitts are the co-creators of IEITV, Inland Empire Internet Television. Rob and Ron first became friends when Ron enrolled in a Radio Operations Class at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. Rob was the professor. They stayed in contact over the years and eventually worked on video projects together.
While having lunch, Rob and Ron discussed the importance of providing quality television programming that could be streamed through the Internet.
